Looking for several weeks. Need badly. My regulator has one harness with three yellow wires, and another harness with a red and one with a green. Finally, I have one white wire which is spliced to a blue wire with elect tape? I do have another regulator but the wiring is different. Does anyone know how to rewire the new regulator I have so it will work? The wiring is different. The new regulator I have is wired as follows; three yellow wires, one red, one blue and one black? What a mess. Or does anyone know where I could find the correct replacement?

Where does the white wire go, you need to trace it , I know I can make the regulator I have work but I must know what the white wire is doing and going.

I received a referral to oregonmotorcycleparts.com from members of another forum. So I've contacted Oregon motorcycle parts and received a reply from Tony. I sent him pics of my current regulator. He is experienced with that model and thinks that he may be able to help me out. I will keep you posted.

Well, I got my new regulator and all seems good so far. It was too late and dark last night when we got it installed to do anymore testing. But as soon as I started up the scoot my lights worked and were brighter than ever and no longer flickered. There was no dimming of lights when I squeezed the brake handle which was the sure test for me. Before they would go so dim, you would not even know they were on before the new regulator. I will pick up a new multimeter tonight for the final test. But I think it's safe to say oregonmotorcycleparts.com saved the riding season for me.

Geez how did I miss you Glad your problem got resolved and you're back to riding again. I upgraded my RR in my Znen scoot with an Oregon unit. (very nicely made stuff)
