My scoot is leaking gear oil from the CVT cover screw hole next to the gear oil drain plug; is this a common problem? How can it be fixed?  |

gearbox gasket  i've never replaced one so not sure if it's as easy as removing the gear cover but would assume. |

Wonder if that has something to do with the belt not climbing at all on the variator issue I posted on the other thread if oil got on the belt then it would certainly cause problems. i would think the variator and clutch would function (well oil on the pads would cause problems) but a slippery belt wouldn't move much. |

I've had oil leak from the bolts around the gear box cover. It is usually just the gasket .
