body wise it's not bad, missing a few clips and screws but pretty good.
got it for $450
but it wont crank, turn over or whatever the term is it wont start.
it has a brand new battery and brand new starter,
when i try turning it on all it does is click once not repeatedly.
i hear a click at the solenoid. also around the starter area i hear a click too but not sure if thats just the solenoid noise or if it's something inside.
i'de appreciate any info that might help.
thanks

i would try jumping the solenoid. if it turns over then you have a bad solenoid.
edit: i didn't even think about possible seized. as keikara pointed out below, try kick starting it before anything else.

If the solenoid is clicking it probably isn't bad may be a bad starter. If it has a kick starter and you try to kick it over, does the motor turn over, or is it seized, if it turns over I would pull the starter and then try to start and see if the starter turns over out of the motor. If the motor is not seized and the starter will crank out of the scooter may be a weak starter, that doesn't have enough to turn the motor under compression.
edit: just noticed you said it had a new starter, however I would still try that after jumping the solenoid to see if it is bad even tho you are hearing the click, may not be allowing enough juice to go to the starter to turn it.

thanks for the responses
i tried the solenoid jump and same thing
tried direct to starter and it felt like the starter tried but did not turn over
it doesn't have a kick starter (bummer) so no luck there
also i noticed that the ground wire got pretty hot after trying to start for a bit
maybe like you guys pointed out, it's seized.
how can i test for that?
also maybe a bad starter clutch?
thanks again for the responses

maybe like you guys pointed out, it's seized. how can i test for that? remove the fan cover and try rotating the engine by hand.

thanks ramblinman, engine not seized
got a new regulator/rectifier, new spark plug, connected the battery and it turned into the little engine that almost could..
it cranks now but has not started yet (bummer)
kinda feels like it's not getting any gas or something
it's so close..
any ideas?
