The tried and true method is doubling or tripling the base gasket. You can also out in a more powerful starter motor. I would think that getting a high torque starter would only be a temporary fix. If the engine compression is really that high that would leave no tolerance or close to no tolerance for error, wouldn't it? Relieving the compression would be the safest bet and would mean less likely to have engine mishaps later, right?

As long as compression stays at or below 200 psi I dont think ill have too many starting problems its definitely worse when its colder out. I upgraded my battery cables to 8-awg and switched to 5w40 synthetic that along with spring and summer temps in the near future I think ill be fine for a while anyway.
