So, I went out today to try to fix my speedometer sensor and struggled to get the front axle off. Long story short, I ended up getting it out using wd-40 a hammer and a tap... Managed to fix the sensor, cleaned old grease out and put new in. I looked up at my forks and saw this i62.tinypic.com/j14oe1.jpgCould I just take them off and open them up to clean and put new grease in? If so, what kind of grease/lube? Just decided to put the tire back on and had the HARDEST time doing so. Ended up using web clamps/straps. JR, alleyoop, Doug, JerryScript, skuttadawg, PS: do you all get annoyed when I tag you?

Looks like I don't have to take the front wheel off if I really don't want to.? Also to loosen the front right fork, can I use a torch? Then precede to do what that forum says? alleyoop
