Well, yes, they are gy6-150 engines, but a factory took these and built them with 50mm pistons instead of 57mm, so they have a displacement smaller than 150, but otherwise, they are complete, new in the box, running gy6-150 We're blowing these out cheap. Below is our ebay listing for it. If you are interested, simply PM me or email service@scrappydogscooters.com and we'll get one sent out to you. Top end kits are $50 bucks, or put a bbk on it, or just run it as is! Dealers, if you want more than one, there are volume discounts. www.ebay.com/itm/gy6-150cc-chinese-scooter-engine-new-motor-157qmj-taotao-vento-roketa-tank-ATV-/271756411133?ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT

Is it a short (10" tire) or long (12-13" tire) case motor? Do you know if it has a 6 or 8 pole stator?
Also, what is the engine stamp?

Hmm... 50mm x 57.8mm = 113cc.... Here in Michigan, 100cc is our scooter classification.... Over 100cc is considered a Motorcycle.... None of the BBK kits I have seen for a GY6 50cc are capable or producing 100cc, even with a stroker.... If you could shorten the stroke this engine and shave off 13cc's it could be marketed as a true 100cc for the GY6 50cc... Perhaps mounting kit adapters could be included...... Never mind this paragraph, just thinking a'loud.....

UPDATE: we have now totally sold off all the gy6-150 engines that had the incorrect top ends assembled on them advertised in this post. Thanks for all the support. I'm glad we caught this mistake from the factory and didn't sell them as 150's accidentally. We are fully in stock of REAL 150's, 50's, 100's 80's, 200's, 250's and 300's also. We may be adding a 4 valve water cooled scooter engine soon....
