Yea my accident could have been a lot worse, if no helmet I would of prolly cracked my skull, my head bounced on the pavement. Luckily my wife was adamant about me wearing a helmet, so I use a full face helmet. And my accident wasn't as bad as my dads about 7 years ago. Hit head on at an intersection, shattered his right leg and left wrist. And of course totaled his low mile Honda Shadow, but he is alive and well all considering.

Only done a little rain riding, but my Burg's tires (OE Bridgestone Hoop) do pretty well.
