Just got a little surprise peace of mind! The phone just rang, and it was Power Ride Outlet calling to confirm all the details of my order. I went over everything to be sure it was correct, and then asked when they thought it might be shipped, letting her know I understand it is a holiday week. She put me on hold for about 30 seconds, then told me they were going to try to get it shipped out tomorrow (Wed, New Year's Eve), and if they couldn't they would get it out on Friday. Note- I checked the order status on the website a couple hours after they called. It now says Packaged and Awaiting Courier Pickup. Seems they keep their site up to date as well. Next thing they said I can expect is an email when it is shipped. I didn't expect a confirmation call. If things continue this way, PRO will be getting a good review from me in the Dealer's subforum soon, fingers crossed!

Update- Got another phone call from Power Ride Outlet around noon today. This time from the guys in the warehouse. They were getting ready to do the PDI, and when they opened the box, it wasn't burgundy. They went through the boxes and found they only had solid black or what they called dark blue. Solid black doesn't do well in the Vegas sun over time, so I went with the blue.
I've read reports in these forums of people getting the wrong color, wrong model, simply the wrong scooter from online dealers. It's nice to have PRO calling me and making sure I get what I want!
Note- I'll move this thread to the Dealers sub forums, as it's turning into a dealer review.

Unfortunately, they don't list the 16" wheeled models on their website.

OK, I'm not as happy with PRO right now. They told me last week my scooter would ship on Friday. Monday got here, no email with shipping info, but last week was a holiday week so I was patient. Tuesday I called them at 9am, and was told my scooter was shipping out that afternoon and I would receive an email with the shipping details. Today is Wed, and I waited till 1pm with no email. I called them again, spoke with Claudia, she put me on hold to check with the warehouse. She told me it would be shipped tomorrow afternoon. I told her I had been told it was shipping on two previous dates, and she said they had to get them from Lance before shipping out. I told her I spoke to the warehouse on the phone last week, and they went through the boxes on hand and told me which colors I could choose, so her story about waiting on Lance was BS. I then took a deep breath, asked her if she was certain it would ship tomorrow, and she said yes. I told her I was beginning to become unhappy with the situation, and that if it did not ship tomorrow, I would consider taking other than happy actions.

Good news! I received an email tonight with a working tracking number from R & L Carriers. Tracking indicates it has been picked up and is at their facility. No delivery estmates yet, but it does say I will be notified 24 hours prior to delivery to make arrangements. Sometimes a phone call is necessary, especially when an order was placed just before New Years. Hoping this means I'll get it by end of week, Vegas isn't far from Cali, fingers crossed!

Woke up this morning, checked the tracking number, my scooter is here in Vegas! I called the shipper, and they are dropping it off tomorrow between 10-2! Now what do I do to keep from going insane for the next 24 hours?

It's here!!!! Uploading a video of the delivery for anyone who has never had a scooter delivered and is interested. Takes a while to upload, will post vids and pics of the unboxing and PDI in a new thread. Moving this thread to Dealers forum since it is in essence a review of my purchase from Power Ride Outlet. Edit - Here's the thread I made on the unboxing and PDI, with pics and a vid of the drop-gate service: itistheride.boards.net/thread/7217/unboxing-pdi-on-new-150cc

Just requested the MCO/MSO. Power Ride Outlet has a webpage you request it on. You fill in your order date, order number, personal info, scooter model number, and VIN number. They say they get it out in 2-3 days, but it's friday night, so if I get it by end of next week I'll be happy.
Did a full PDI, changed oils, charged battery, she started on the first try! Power Ride Outlet must truly do a PDI, there was a bit of gas in there, and I didn't have to prime the carb, it just started as soon as I pressed the button.
I did do a valve adjustment during the PDI, the intake was fine, but the exhaust was 0 tight, set to .005 and put her back together. Only found 3 slightly loose bolts, all wires and connectors look good, hoses look good enough not to replace right away (Znen quality as of the past couple of years has improved over old school Chinese scooters). Two small scratches on the luggage rack, but that will be covered up by the trunk, so no issue. Front brake is has nothing, so I'll have to track that issue down, hopefully just needs bleeding.
I had said earlier in this thread that I had wanted to purchase from Valley Scooters due to their great reviews and lack of bad reviews I could find. They couldn't ship to Vegas without charging an extra $500, which is why I went with Power Ride Outlet as my second choice, also due to good reviews. I'm not disappointed with going with my second choice at all. So long as the MCO/MSO comes through proper and timely, I will definitely recommend anyone interested in purchasing a scooter from an online dealer consider Power Ride Outlet!

When I was waiting for the iPad my friend sent me, I think I checked FedEx's tracking site a dozen times. That morn. Ha. And thanks for the pics. Gosh, when I said "post pics" I didn't except a video too! Somebody's excited..... >'Kat

Good news! I checked the mail this evening, and I received my MCO and bill of sale from Power Ride Outlet. The VIN matches perfectly, and everything appears to be filled out properly. It's Thursday night, with any luck I can get it registered tomorrow and be riding this weekend! So final opinion on Power Ride Outlet: Someone always answered the phone, they called me with a question about the order, website was easy to use and check order status on, scooter arrived timely and undamaged, and paperwork arrived a week later. I also got a great price with a holiday discount! While I always recommend using a local dealer for several reasons, if like me you cannot find the model you like, if Power Ride Outlet carries it, I would recommend you consider purchasing from them!
