Great news, got my new scooter registered!
Went to the DMV today, drove the bike there-back-there-again without the cops spotting me without plates, whew. Drove it over to the inspection station, no line. They didn't even check the frame, said so long as the VIN plate didn't look tampered with it was good enough for them. Took them about 15 minutes to find what Znen was listed under, but it checked out fine.
Went inside, registered my cell phone number, went home. Got text updates for the next 5 1/2 hours letting me know where I was in line. Very cool that I didn't have to sit at the DMV all day. When I got a text saying I had about an hour to go, I went back (20 minute drive). Got there, and about 20 minutes later was at the window. Sure beats the old system of waiting there all day long.
They went over everything with a fine tooth comb, checking every detail on all the paperwork. I had to pay sales tax, even though it was purchased online from out of state, not happy about that. But in the end, everything checked out, and I got my plate!
Final detail in this saga of purchasing online will be receiving the title, takes 2-6 weeks. The way they went over all the forms multiple times, I'm not anticipating any problems. Fingers crossed that my final post in a few weeks is a happy ending!

Final update- I received my title from the state of Nevada in the mail today! My new SSR is fully insured, and licensed, and officially titled in my name, can't seem to wipe this silly grin off my face! Power Ride Outlet came through for me on this purchase from start to finish, they get my recommendation!
