Except in cases of riders that LOVE pink accessories Kat! (Then the tire rule is null and void)

Except in cases of riders that LOVE pink accessories Kat! (Then the tire rule is null and void) What can I say? Guilty as accused. I'm just such a girly-girl. Leo, having driven a total of three different scooters, I'll admit my experience there is basically zip. But the little-tired Vespa was horrible when I tried it. Just really wiggly and squirrelly and hard for me to control. It almost convinced me getting a scooter was NOT a good idea! Good thing the dealer put me on a cousin to mine after the Vespa. >'Kat

I like the appearance of that big green scoot. It's not trying to look like a sport bike. The front is shark-ish like the DN01.

The first time I rode mine I felt the same way. It was so wiggly. I had to learn to reduce my inputs and to sit very still to avoid making it wiggle. Then for a while I was so nervous about the tiny wheels I watched the road right in front of the scooter to avoid any bumps or holes. Now it's a breeze. I have melded with it and it's so smooth that I often goof off by counter steering it and making it move back and forth beneath me just for fun. I still think bigger tires are better and safer though. Mine's also a little bigger and heavier than the turtle deck type. Those scare me.

howdy, i almost like the boxer twin. it should have low center of gravity and good power and fuel mileage.

wishing ya good times and lotsa miles and smiles to ya ken

Thanks! It's almost "bone-stock" but the little things do make a big difference. That's why I was willing to go through SO much misery to put a fake whitewall on the rear... Doggone, I do wish Shinko would make a 140-70-12 whitewall! Aside from the tires, saddlebags, large trunk, (and of course, my "pet" fishtail exhaust... LOL!) it is completely stock.
I just noticed, that old picture was taken BEFORE the fishtail exhaust tip... Gotta "update"! Living in TEXAS, the mouse just HAD to get a little shot of vintage Harley/Indian DNA... LOL!
The most important thing to me, is that Minnie Mouse RIDES so well. Sure, she tops out about 80, making her fastest sensible cruise around 65-70 (not QUITE as fast as I wish it was, on the freeway) but "adequate"... and, she's NOT a maxi-scooter. She's short, sweet, nimble and basically what many of us really wish our 150's could be with enough modding. That WAS my goal... to have as close to a highway-capable 150 as I could muster.
The Grandvista is long out-of-production, but still has a major following among us who want a solid ride on the highway, but in a GY6 150-size exterior package. She's almost IDENTICAL to my old Xingyue 150 in all dimensions, but 100 pounds or so heavier... And a WHOLE LOT faster... LOL!
Old Minnie Mouse really handles like a 150 in tight traffic, but feels like a full-sized motorcycle on the freeway (as long as you don't need to go faster than the 250 will allow... LOL!) Not for everyone, or they'd still make 'em! But good for this old geezer's needs.
Whatever you ride, ride safe!

They remind me she's a SCOOTER, not a MOTORCYCLE... or something... Little-bitty "Vespaesque" wheels rule on scooters! Again, just me... LOLOLOL!
Ride safe,
Leo in Texas Those whitewalls really are a nice touch Leo. Thanks, Scooter!
Not sure the rear was worth the effort, but old "Minnie Mouse" is so "old-school" she just needed wide-whites!
Say, is that great dog in your avatar YOURS? Just looks SO friendly!
Ride safe,
Leo

Probably way more bike than I'll be comfortable with. But I love the sharky look. And I beyond love that it's grinnin'! >'Kat
