As the thread title implies, I'm looking for a package/combo deal.
I need an 11 pole stator, matching flywheel and regulator/rectifier (The scooter has an AC CDI)....
I know a lot of people upgrade from 6, 8 to 11 pole for things like HID lights.... I would like to do that kind of upgrade to a scooter that I have (selling to my Father).... It's a 150cc Sunny (DongFang) and the stupid thing is not charging....
I went to fix it but it's not worth fixing in its present condition.... Damaged wires, factory wires that are about 22~24 gauge when they should be at least 18 gauge... Not sure how many poles the current stator has but I just can't get over how fragile the wires are... The main charging wire going from the regulator to the battery is seriously like 24 gauge... I'm surprised it hasn't just burnt up....
Anyhow, I want to get a real good, (name brand if possible) charging system....
I need a flywheel for an 11 pole (AC CDI) stator/magneto

I still haven't been able to locate a bundle of the three items I'm looking for... I thought with all the people upgrading to HIDs and such there would be a bunch of packages.... Anyhow, I only need to locate the flywheel..They place I plan on ordering from has their flywheels listed as 6 or 8 magnet, But I can't find any 11 magnet flywheels... I know they have the flywheel I need, I just can't find it yet..... Anyone know what flywheel I will need to use with the following parts?: Triphase Full Wave A/C Diameter: 87mm Width: 30mm Bolt Hole Spacing: 41mm Bolt Hole Diameter: 6mm Coil Wire Length: 20 inches Number of Coils: 11 Plug Style: 4-pin, female & 2 single wires 12 Volt Regulator Plug Style: 2 Plugs, 3-pin female & 3-pin female Wire Length: 6 inches Bolt Hole Spacing: Slotted 60mm

Use the flywheel that is currently on there, I have yet to see a flywheel with more than 8 magnets on the 150s. The important thing on the flywheels is to match the magnet position on the flywheel for the pickup coil when the flywheel is on the crank otherwise the timing will be off. Alleyoop

Alleyoop Thanks! is that also true if it's a 6-magnet? I'm pretty sure it has an 8 pole because it has 2, 25 watt front head lamps.... But this is just a WAG till I yank the flywheel.... I was just wanting to have the parts on hand when I do the switch....

BTW, what are the two different red lines on the flywheels in your picture? Why are they in different positions?

As long as the flywheel has 8 magnets you will be fine. Notice the Woodruff key slot pointing up then the other RED LINE points to the PICKUP COIL magnet on the outside of the flywheel. The flywheels are different so if you get a new flywheel you have to make sure the Slot and Pickup Magnet are in the same position as your current one. Alleyoop

Here is how most would rank scooter manufacturers for their quality .
1. Italian: vespa, piaggio, gilera, derbi, moto guzzi, aprilia
2. Japanese: honda, yamaha
2a. Taiwanese: kymco, sym, tgb, adly, pgo
3. South Korea: daelim, hyosung
4. China: qianjiang also known as QJ, zongshen , cf moto

The kymco is just another scooter maker , I sold the kit to a guy with one and the magneto did not work because of where the magnet and pulse coil are mounted . When the man went back to his Kymco flywheel everything was golden .
