Yes it is running really lean, turn the fuel ratio mixture screw counter clockwise until it does not do that anymore. Then Shut it off and then turn the fuel ratio screw CLOCKWISE and count the number of turns until it stops. If the number of turns out is more than 3 1/2 turns out get the next BIGGER PILOT JET at least a #32 they usually come with a 28 or so stock.
