So I finally had my scoot running good (note I said HAD, it's now torn apart installing a BBK and new head) So on Sunday I went for a ride out to Jacksonville's intercoastal A1A ride ending at a great restaurant in Mayport, and then the beach on my way home.

In this first pic you can see in the background the steam coming off of the cooling stacks at our power plant. Mind you those stacks are about 30 miles away. (really good camera hehe)

This is Singletons, the restaurant that I had lunch at. This place is one of the best seafood restaurants in the world. It has a deep history here in Jacksonville. It's a shack that is built on docks over the intercoastal. Over the years they've added additional docks and rooms for more customers giving it a real shack type appearance. They only use fresh daily catch seafood, and it's one of the only places I know of that yo can get real, fresh, fried clams. Every other place normally uses frozen crap. My grandfather was good buddies with the old man who started this place way back when, he used to take me fishing off of of this same dock when I was just a little boy.
