Hi everyone I'm new here and I have a 2008 Adly Jet 50 I'm having problems with it I've replaced the coil, sparkplug, battery, cylinder and piston, air filter, and gas filter, and gas lines, yet it still does not want to start and stay running I've noticed it is leaking oil before the mix but I've not found the leak yet if anyone could give me any tips pointers that would be greatly appreciated thanks. 1st rule of thumb on hard starting after you have checked the basics, time to adjust your valves. Set both to .003" and then follow Alleyoop's 4T Carb Tuning instructions (located in the tech sub forum).

I believe this is a two stroke. If so, no valves. Pull the carb and clean it good.

Yes it is a 2 stroke, Make sure you have the air filter on otherwise it will not get enough fuel.
Also check the compression on it, it should be at the VERY LEAST 120psi. If you do not have a compression gauge do this: Take the spark plug out and stick your finger in the hole and hold it nice ans snug then open the throttle wide open and crank the motor. IF it lifts your finger off the hole it has descent compression for the motor to run, IF you feel just some pressure then the rings are shot. Alleyoop
