Ok, so I traded in my Scorch for a (second one) Havoc.
It has almost 100 miles on it and it has been running as good as my other Havoc and then all of a sudden, today when I'm cruising I come to a stop a light and the Havoc dies. Well, I restarted it no problem and made it about a block and bam, same-thing, it dies at a stop.
At this point, I'm about 15 miles away from home. So I start limping it back home and the stalling became more frequent. If I hit a bump it would cause it to stall, coming to a stop it would stall and by the time I was a couple miles from home, it was just stalling any time I wasn't giving it full throttle. Also, it started becoming harder to start....
I did manage to limp home. I pulled the panels off and inspected all the vacuum lines and they all look intact. I checked the coil and it seemed to be secure.
This is DC setup (CDI) and I know it will not run without the battery but all electrical connections look good.....
Suggestions?

I think you know I just had a similar problem that turned out to be electrical (bad coil). But i can't help but inject some (hopefully) comic relief: WHY ARE YOU STOPPING? AND WHY ARE YOU TARGETING THOSE POOR BUMPS

You were very close! I had to un-tape the whole wiring harness in the engine compartment and discovered the two wires going to my coil was smashed in between in the under seat compartment and the frame (arcing out in the process)..... I found another set of wires going to my starter solenoid in the same spot that would have eventually suffered the fate... The more I rode, the more it was crushing the wires. I completely repaired my coil wires and cut out the bad sections going to starter solenoid, replacing the plug with a pigtail connectors. I re-wrapped the harness in in quality wire loom and made sure it was no longer in danger of being crimped. It now runs at 100% like my other havoc. I wish all scooter problems were electrical.. I can fix any electrical problem, but when it comes to theinternals of the engine (and even the carb) I have a lot to learn.....
