Installed a Malossi variator kit on my Derbi Paddock. After 7 miles of riding,the belt shredded into small pieces. I cleaned up the case and installed a new belt,but it acted like it was taking off in high gear. I took the variator off and noticed that the brass sleeve insid e of the weighted section had slid out about 3 mms. Has anyone ever had this happen before and if so,how do I keep the sleeve from coming out again? Thanks
