I've been lurking for awhile trying to figure out what my best bet was for buying a scooter. I want something with good mpg, that can go at least 50 mph. So I've gathered that I'm looking for a 4t 150cc engine.
I would like to get something new, and that works well but I'm kinda poor. I'm also kinda worried about riding on something I put together, considering I have very little mechanical skill. I've looked through this: x1scooters.com/pdi.html and I am fairly confident that I will have an expensive paper weight if I try that.
Any suggestions on make/models? Is it safer if I bite the bullet and take out a loan for a new scoot, or is it better to find something used and try to make it work.
