I would not use jb weld on the interior of that intake because If it comes loose that jb weld is going to end up straight in your piston. Order a replacement intake shaft. They are on average 20-30$ for a nice aluminum one.

If it is making a ticking sound when you turn it off and it is hot, that noise is normal. If you listen close it comes from the exhaust metal. The metal expands slightly when hot, and then contracts when it cools down. That is completely normal. I live in Florida, and my car and scooter both do that.

thank you rpdemer i like florida orlando & specially miami. yup i noticed that too on my van..after i turn off the engine...now i am thinking of putting # main jet since on my few testing i did not encounter any coughing on my scooter maybe also on the cdi because i put back the stock cdi.,i use racing cdi before those blue racing cdi, if you are familiar on those blue cdi,the stock cdi performs well..

I use the stock cdi as well. I prefer it. I have the wire cut but the power difference between the performance cdi an stock is not noticeable in my opinion

But if you are dropping the jet, check to make sure you aren't going to lean yourself out. If it was good at a 103 then a 95ay be too small.
