Gonna' have to go Bastille--it's got STYLE. Plus random stray window-slits.
Alcatraz just looks pretty much like any other government building of its time, excluding the guard tower.

I'd have to go with the Bastille too,I think they might have done beheadings there also, plus it's got a moat, ya gotta love a good moat.
