Are you a fat jerseyboy or a skinny one ? John Well John I am about 175 lbs soaking wet.I got 13" wheels and would like to drop my rpm down some,,I will let you know what size gears are in it next week,,getting ready for a camping trip this week so wont be able to tear into it till next sun or mon

variator rollers/sliders run you about a twenty dollar bill plus some of your time . That would be the simplest way to go weigh your current rollers . Then try to figure where you are verses where you want to be . I bet your 12g roller , I weigh 180 or 190 14g sliders held me at 7200 rpm wot down hills I would would see 76 or 7800 rpm if I held it . The reason I did that was to protect my engine hands off . The little boy inside says faster daddy faster daddy . I had to rebuild that engine twice after the second rebuild it got the 14g sliders . I sold the scooter to a man I guess 150/160lbs he has had it for two years and still going strong . I have no control if it will rev I will push it .
