Finally!~!!! I can actually reply after those tests replies above. --- thanks guys for your feedback and ideas. I made note from what I learned from you.
I had to get a past mechanic to come up. It turned out to be the replacement pick-up was also faulty.
And – re: the cdi while testing we had the black wire out (to rule out kill switch problems) and then ran another wire from the grn ground to the engine (to rule out ground problems). Was this wrong?
