Ok so I can not find a starting point for jetting my 26mm carb. All the jets I have, have no numbers on them. I've ordered a few & no # on them. So maybe ya'll can help.
150cc with aftermart exhaust Slider weights & uni-filter
I don't know whats in it & I know it's the wrong size bc my exhaust pipe is way to hot. Haven't pulled plug yet to see how that reads but will post after Thanks ahead

The size might be on the side if you look real close I can barely see it with cheaters on,,well I would try between 115-120 main and see how it runs..should put you in the ballpark.I have a 118 in mine now,,was running a 115 but had some popping under deceleration and my pipe was getting a little blue. Now she is running pretty darn good..lol You results may vary cause a 24 mm carb is more than enough for a 150,,even with a BBK,,the 26mm might be a little finicky to tune.

Ok so I am all kinda of confused!! I ordered a #115 & #120 main jet & #40 pilot. Started with 115 & the bike just bogged & popped with slightest turn of the throttle not to mention barely ran. So went to 120 & no dif. So I've got about 5 jets with no #'s on them so I just started down the line until it started up fine, idle was good then took it for a ride & couldn't get past 25-30 or it'd bog down & pop on decel. So I moved the needle clip down 1 & can go a little bit faster but same. Any ideas ?

Well I'm @ a stand still here I've checked over everything here & I'm literally stumped! Bike started normal, takes off great & acceleration is good but as soon as I hit either 35-40 or a bit faster roms just shoot straight down like it's about to just die stall but when letting off throttle & bring it back it spits & backfires.
150cc 115 & 45 jets needle clip is in the middle Uni filter. No holes in lines or manifold boot. When I pulled plug it was black.

Like a said,, A 26mm carb could just be too much for a stock motor. Why did you go with such a big carb? Try a small jet like a 110 and see if it gets any better..

It's all I've ever used so I don't get how it's to big. Own 2 bikes & 1st came with a 26. This had a 24 but with all basic mods, exhaust, sliders etc. 24 wasn't enought. So been running the 26 for 2yrs now & no issues. Until I put the performance shorty exhaust then I noticed the header pipe was getting burnt & exhaust pipe was super hot. From my experience this is a symptom of running to lean. So I bought the 115 & 120 jets & only change that occurred was now it's loss of power @ around 30-40.mph. Not exactly sure since my gauge is off. Also put in a 24 & bog gas well.
What else would cause this?
