ok so ive had a post about all the problems i was having with the piston scraping the cylinder with my new bbk possibly because the studs wouldnt torque all the way down, well i put it together again with new studs and i stripped them on atleast one inside the case where the cylinder studs go on the cvt side. (not the stator side) so...fml right? always the worst luck, what do i do now??? can someone please help me, ive spend enough money on parts trying to fix this bs problem i couldve bought a junk scooter and had a whole engine to use for spare parts! i really cant afford to spend anymore money that i dont have and this is my only transportation to and from work for me so support my daughter and myself and keep food on my table. any help will be appreciated. i know im going to need new studs and nuts but i dont know if i can re tap the hole or what, when i was torquing them down they were all good and actually got to where they needed to be and i was on the last one and i heard a loud snap and i assumed the stud broke but after dissasembly the stud was still together and the threads were stripped inside the case, but the snap sounded like something definately broke but i didnt see anything in the hole except the stripped threads, is there something broke inside the case that im not seeing and just wasting my time even thinking about fixing these threads??

Are you sure your torque wench is good? I once had a torque wench that went bad, and I snapped a stud. Sounds like way too much torque when you are tightening it up.

Is the STUD striped or inside the case? If it's inside the case it may be stripped at the bottom, So put a washer or lock washer on under the nut and Just tighten it down with a socket forget about the torque wrench, Just nice and tight but do not crank on it. Don't forget as the motor heats up the metal will expand and will tighten even more. Alleyoop

is there enough metal around the hole so you drill and tap it out bigger and put in a heli-coil? shouldnt be hard to do its aluminum.
