Just picked up a Roketa 54b with low miles cheap! Doing an initial look-over I went to check & change all the fluids. Upon opening the coolant tank I saw that it was full but the coolant was very thick, hmm… DOH!!! someone must have thought it was a 2-stroke and filled it full of oil! Yes it got into the system and after a half hour of flushing I think it's clean now. That's almost as bad as when I found gunk in the brake bleeders and realized someone thought they were grease fittings! Always important to grease your brakes...

But just remember, there's drum brake grease and disc brake grease, don't get the two mixed up!

Remember that the oil can have an insulating effect when it contaminates the cooling jacket so a flush with a mix of 25% to 50% white vinegar with a little Dawn Dishwashing Soap (Very Little) followed by at least 4 flushes with distilled water may be required to get the cooling system closer to 100% effective again.
Yes some people should not do their own maintenance at least until after they first learn how to read and comprehend above the third grade level.

Engine Ice reccomends the vinigar flush regardless to ensure the block is clean of old antifreeze and the drop or two of Dawn will help break up any surface tension.
