Well I have had the stock drum brakes in for over 12,000 miles ,I've completely tightened the brake nut twice and repositioned the brake arm 3 times now . I have had new brake shoes for a while now and I decided to put them in . When I took the old shoes off I was amazed to see about only half the pads wore out . I replaced them anyway and I was wondering if anyone else has had their drum brakes last that long ?
