Hey guys! First of all I want to say thank you for the wealth of knowledge I have gained before ever even making my first scooter purchase. I feel completely confident that I will be able to make any necessary repairs and adjustments and maintain my future scoot thanks to everything I have learned here. I plan on buying a Powermax 150 at the end of this month or early June.
Now on to my question:
The one nagging thing about the Powermax design that I can't stand (and can't really figure out without having one in front of me) is how one might go about replacing the stock gauges with custom ones. Aftermarket speedo, aftermarket tach, etc. Ideally I would like to just install them into the existing assembly and remove the ones inside, but I don't even know if that's possible.
Could anyone perhaps point me in the right direction that has undertaken a project such as this? I'm trying to avoid bar mounting anything due to the design of the bike making the bars inaccessible without cutting holes in the panels covering them.
Thanks guys & gals!
