Just getting into the scooter game. The 150cc Chinese scooter that was gifted to me stalls every 10-15 minutes or so.
Apparently, according to my brother, it's because there is gas that is getting into the oil. Any advice on how to fix this?

take apart the carb. the valve isn't closing allowing fuel to drain into the cylinder. also check your fuel petcock just to be sure it isn't leaking fuel. should be an easy fix. once you get the bowl on the carb removed just bend the tiny tab so the floats completely close the valve. also change the oil a.s.a.p... i've read gas can damage the crankshaft.

First check yourself if gas is getting into the oil. If the oil level has not increased it more than likely is not.
Gas in the oil won't cause you to stall but the oil loose its lubricating propertied and the engine will over heat and damage its self or fail.

The 150cc Chinese scooter that was gifted to me stalls every 10-15 minutes or so... somehow i missed this... you likely have other problems causing it to stall. never heard of gas in the oil causing those symptoms. take care of the oil first and then we can help you with the stalling issue. if you remove the dipstick and smell gas then i highly recommend not running the engine until you solve that problem.
