Welcome and congratulations Never too old to enjoy the freedom of riding
(You're a month older than me, but , who ways we too old to ride scooters.)
I even got a "You go big guy" from a girl at the auto ports store, as I was unhooking my crutches and putting my helmet in the top box. Had to get some Prestone 50/50 silicate free stuff
Then put 49 more miles on it on the way back home Meaning, never sent a man/biker/scooterer to go to the store to get bread/milk. It takes 3 hours and lotsa miles.
Anyway, welcome and enjoy

Craisin,
Welcome to the site! I'm 67... An old biker from the wonderful days of old, when life was simple. Nope, you're NEVER too old to ride. And if life finally gets you where you can't do two wheels anymore, there are always great rides on three wheels!
After nearly thirty years with no bike (my last Harley got stolen in 1997...) I discovered Chinese scooters. I got a 2007 Xingyue 150 that I enjoyed for seven years, and it taught me how to fix "things Chinese". Local streets have now turned to freeways and the 150 simply wasn't safe anymore, because it couldn't keep up with traffic.
So I traded it on a VERY well-used '07 (same year) Kymco 250. I still enjoy riding, even though arthritis limits me to a flat-floor, step-through scooter. I have to "ease" off old "Minnie Mouse" and lean her over, THEN put down the side stand... But I'm still riding and enjoying it! Keeps the aging sense of balance working.
Welcome to the site! And keep on riding...
And, RIDE SAFE!

Yeah yeah i walk sometimes for exercise specially when the tank is empty. Ive had a parachute accident in 1987 had a lot of broken bones. My scoot is genuine 50cc 4t fast downhill Ive altered the center stand so it hugs the engine more and dont scrape the road no more lately things could change. There is a 250 honda in the shed that i have plans for i get given greif for prefering 2 wheels but i love it brings me joy that only the lame know Thanks for the welcome
