broke electric starter by pouring petrol on it?  By  zoom (Read 252 times)

one pint of petrol leaked under the seat in the luggage box, when i was taking a bottle of petrol to someone's scooter to see it run. The seat crushed the bottle cap and the petrol leaked all over the bike, and the next day, when i start it, the electric starter is silent and instead i hear a small buzz.whine somewhere in the bike. 

is the solenoid making that noise?

what could have happened? How can i fix it?
