Here you go take the Valve cover vent hose and put a fuel filter on the end of it and ZIP TIE IT HIGHER than the VALVE COVER NO KINKS. Alleyoop

There should be a black filter type foam in the air filter compartment , that is the port you want to connect it to.

I wouldn't mess with the air filter unless u are going to do other upgrades like a bbk , exhaust and others. U need to wipe the oil from the engine , cylinder and head and watch to see where it is coming from . It sounds like u r filling it right . Have u checked compression ? Thanks for the air filter advice! Im planning on wiping the engine down tomorrow but how do I check the compression and what would be the significance of it be in lamen, scooter noob terms? When u connect the vent hose put a hose clamp on it so it dose t fall off. Also if the air filter was covered in oil u will need to buy a new one u can't just wash it out . However u can wash the small black filter out , just make sure it dries . I have a couple extra air filters that r new . I bought them then decided to upgrade everything . If u haven't ordered one let me know I'll send u one.

I'm gonna guess and say that at some point there was to much oil in the engine which caused the filter to get covered and at some point the vent hose fell off and with it just hanging their allowed the oil to slowly leak out . I would still clean and check for leaks just to be safe but it sounds like all u may need is a new filter and clamp the vent hose up. To check compression u need a gauge but I wouldn't worry about that right now .
