Which war is more macho? The Franco Prussian War of 1870 or the War of 1812?

Gotta' vote 1812. I mean, it has its own overture and everything. Including cannons.
What's the F-P war got?

And talking 1812 Overture--The Pride of Wildcatland Kansas State University Marching Band played it one year for halftime. Did it to coincide with Fort Riley Day. The Big Red One had brought several "cannons" (meaning some of their smaller BIG guns) to display outside the stadium. And by the bye, to provide the bangs during the overture.
The officer in charge must've been a physics or sound engineering major. Or was just a genius. He knew exactly when to fire each gun so that from inside the stadium the boom sounded at the precise correct moment in the song. Goose-pimpling for sure!
Which should just confirm that 1812 is more macho than F-P!

Uh, yeah. Just further proves my point. An entire overture, vs a territory dispute. Winner, 1812! >'Kat

Part of the War of 1812, was the Battle of Ft McHenry, which inspired Francis Scott Key to write a poem which eventually became the Star Spangled Banner. If you don't know the whole story behind what inspired Key....it's a very 'macho" thing....
