Thanks for the links and tips. My Pirellis are on their way. I talked to a motorsports store and they are going to mount and balance them for 25 bucks a piece; after watching the video of the guy struggling to get the damn tires off and the new ones on its 50 bucks Im ok with spending. do you have to take the rims to them or will they do all the work? if they are doing all the work then that is $50 well worth spending imo. good advice. definitely upgrade the valve stems. i got mine here: www.ebay.com/itm/161222040455?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649you can find cheaper ones and more expensive, just don't go too cheap or you'll be replacing them again. That is me taking them to them; but the scoot is new so all I have to do is remove the back tire so it should be no big deal. I did buy valve stems. I got these.

If you buy the rubber type stems u can get some black silicone and apply a thin layer around the rubber of the stem that is showing . Many of the rubber type stems still rot in couple yrs.

im in the same boat, time to upgrade my stock tires after using them for 1 yr and 5 mths. I actually bought today the KENDA k413 tires (4 ply) and all metal valves. Havent had any issues with the stock tires but just to be safe i wanna replace them cause the stock/china tires are low quality.

I just get USA made valve stems from the local auto parts store . I have a bad feeling about a valve stem that I have to tighten a bolt for it to seal .
