i'm selling my 2011 atm50 with 50mm BBK installed about 3,000km ago. has about 15,000km, new exhaust, front brakes replaced 2,000km ago, rear brakes replaced about 5,000km ago, needs new rear tire. it's been very dependable but i am concerned the crankshaft may not hold up much longer.
i'm selling to a friend from work, wondering what a fair price would be for both parties.

3-5 hundred for a 3 year old scooter with a BBK in good condition. If it wasn't a friend, I would say 5-7 hundred, but that's definitely high side for a 3 year old ATM50.

In the Dallas area you can get a NEW 2014 model 50 CC Chinese scoot for $599.00 or less and a 150 CC for $799.00
Anything you spent on upgrades, is mostly water under the bridge. Like if you spent $1200 on a car to repair the transmission and the car is basically worth $1000. You will not get your $1200 back.
I don't see the friend part being a big part of the pricing. IMHO your scoot is worth no more than $300.00 and no less than $250.00

I live in north Florida and I could get 500 all day long for a scooter with a 50mm bbk. I've gotten that much for a older stock scooter.

You wouldn't think they would hold value as much as they do considering how many we have here for sale new and used.

Since it's someone you know then it wouldn't hurt giving a discount though.

I based my original estimate on Vegas prices. Here, you can find the rare sub $500 used scooter in working condition, below that and you can bet on having to do some repair work, which would probably push your total back over $500 again.
