Actually, I guess I still have the questions about the pickup in the stator bundle. There are two wires from the stator and two wires on the scoot (the individual connectors) and I don't know which color goes with which. 4th and 6th pictures from first post...... Can anyone answer this?

Sorry john, somehow I missed your initial reply. I will trace/meter the wires back on the scoot side and see which is which so I can hook them up correctly to the pickup.
Thanks for your help.

I have a 150 gy6.
Thanks for the pictures. I looked at the stator a little closer and then it became fairly obvious to me which was the pick up wire. Sometimes I ask stupid questions even though I have the answer right in front of me.

So any tips or tricks can be helpful . John

Corn Fused... is this a mod for the 50cc or 150cc GY6?.. Makes no difference Glen , it works great on both 50 and 150cc . Eric is working on a 150cc John

I remember you and I messaged about this 11 pole upgrade in the past. But did not know it would work for a 50cc. I have never measured..but I was under the impression the 150 stator had a bigger bolt pattern and over all diameter. Therefore it would not bolt to the block..nor would the flywheel fit over it.. So you use a 150 stator and the 8 pole 50cc flywheel? Hmm..

The crank shaft diameter is different from a 50 to a 150cc . I have both magnetos in stock . John

John..that is part of what I was saying..the 50 and 150 crankshaft diameters are different size. So then this will require only the 150 11 pole stator and you use your stock 50cc 8 pole flywheel as the 150 flywheel shaft hole would be too large..correct?

Yes Glen , I prefer to sell it as a set as it has been tested as a set . I can ship with confidence knowing all parts are working and playing together well in the sand box .

I tests my parts before I ship them. Well not BBK's..roller/Slider weights..Springs etc. But the 11 pole stator should really help the very anemic electrical system on the 50cc scoots. Especially for folks that want to use Stereos and other accessories..
