Such a troubling scooter! adjusted valves, replaced the CDI and ignition cord. new NGK C7HSA spark plug. Replaced the fuel sending unit gas float. Carb was cleaned a week or two ago cleaned all the jets. What am I doing wrong? Thank you in advance.

air leak? if everything you have done already is working properly then i'd check all vacuum hoses and the intake manifold for air leaks. that's my 2 cents... perhaps someone with more knowledge can steer you in the right direction.

It is running LEAN so you either have AIR LEAKS or you need to RICHEN Up the Carb by turning the Fuel Ratio Mixture screw COUNTER CLOCKWISE. Alleyoop

I replaced all my hoses with new one from autozone, so it's none of the hoses. I haven't taken off the manifold yet. I was looking at this thing (i don't know what it's called) and it has one big hose connected on one end, and 2 nipples on the other with nothing connected to them.. Could that be the case? Also I notice if I remove this hose and squeeze it, the scooter seems to idle better... Could the part be broken? I remember when I removed the original hose the top came off and I was able to push it back together, but it could have broke? I'm not sure.. Thank you. Also does anyone have an extra top that covers the battery? I can pay shipping or whatever just let me know how much. My zip is 37042

Yes, that is your problem, that is your EVAP canister. If the top came off then it is broke and is leaking and your loosing Vacuum. So take the WHOLE thing off you do not need it. 1. Plug the VACUUM hose at it ORIGIN that is the one you squeezed. 2. Take the Hose coming from your gas tank off the Canister and put a Fuel Filter on the end of it and zip tie it higher than where it is coming from on the Gas tank. 3. The other hose is most likely going to your AIR BOX or TUBING, take the hose off the AIR BOX or Tubing and plug up that hole. DONE Alleyoop

Thank you, haha I thought it was broken once I squeezed the hose and it was running a lot smoother! But wasn't sure Guess I was kinda half way there. Thank you so much for all the help Alleyoop for this issue and the other threads! On another note; does anyone have a spare battery cover lid from a used scooter? I can pay shipping or whatever just let me know. My zip is 37042 Thank you.

You can make one out of a piece of 1/8 thick plywood wood, since it is under the matting under your feet not a big deal. Alleyoop
