Hello! I've been away for several months due to a mishap with a ladder, but here's my scooter problem. I have a Xingxue Ruckus clone that I bought new in late July. It has 260.4 miles on it. I did a full post-delivery inspection, including changing all fuel lines, all fluids, greasing bulbs, upgrading main fuse holder, etc. It ran great. I was off for 6 weeks due to my accident, and went to ride the scoot in November, when I noticed the rear fender was rubbing on the wheel. Upon closer inspection, I discovered that the main nut on the rear axle was missing, and the axle had slid almost completely out of the bearings on the right-side swingarm. The axle is stripped, so I can't replace the nut. (Which is lost anyway, and an odd size.) Will I have to replace the entire axle, or can I re-tap it? Is there something better to upgrade to?
I wasn't expecting much from this scooter, and was prepared for it to have issues, but this thing is really CHEAP. It got rained on ONCE, and is rusting in several places. The fuel gauge stopped working 1 1/2 months after buying it, one headlight burned out, and now this axle. Let the buyer beware, I guess!

can you post a picture so we can see how bad the damage is . I remember someone else had a problem with the axle nut and the bearing was bad . I think that was the cause . Lets see what yours looks like .

Your going to have to replace it or create new threads on it and find a matching bolt.
