It time for a new belt it slips on take off. It has a 835. Should I go with that or can I get longer belt and what would it do as far as take off power and top speed.

You can use a slightly longer belt if the one you have now does not go all the way to the top of the pulley. IT would give you a little higher top speed and probably would not be able to notice a loss at the take off speed.

842-20-30 would be the next size up.

I would openit up and see if you can put a larger diameter variator with it .

You can always put in 1 gram lighter weights, All your really doing is requiring higher RPMS to turn your wheel.

Ok a longer belt and larger vairator will give more top speed but will it cut my take off power? I don't think I have ever heard anybody complain about low end loss with a performance variator new belt and lighter weights. Nice thing is if you do it you will like it almost a guarantee. |
