This is his current problem, , that scoot should have no problems hitting 55+. You guys should know this by now, he is trying to feed fuel as if he had a 250-300cc motor to a 150cc STOCK MOTOR. Alleyoop Exactly. If your trying to push fuel through like it is a 250 then get a 250 where the whole package is designed to be ridden at higher speeds. My Lance Vintage 150 once I got it all straightened out while still in basically stock form aside from the Hoca variator and higher output Scrappy CDI would easily hit 65 mph on flat ground but then when it came to stopping from 65 mph that was another matter altogether. The braking system on my 250 does a much better job at stopping at any speed. Getting a 50cc or 150cc bike to go over 55 mph usually only gets you to the next obstical which is being able to stop the bike safely and in the shortest distance in an emergency situation.

Man I wish you hadn't have put this. This is so bad !!! I've figured out a little of my problem as my CVK has 2 adjustment screws that I am unsure of, and I have since re-jetted with a 122. I just have to get it together and go vroom

You're still running too fat. The 250 I just tuned, is running a #120 main jet and it has a unifilter and a stock "low flow" exhaust system. The #120 jet is a bit large, but it seems to work with this particular bike.... My 250 is running fine with a #109 completely stock... My 150 is running a #107 completely stock.
A stock 150 with a stock carb is usually like a 107. The 150 I rebuilt for a friend is running an aftermarket exhaust, unifilter and it's running a 115 main jet.
I'm only posting this to give you a base line.
If you can go back to the stock carb, run a #109 main, and I think you will be golden. If it's still a little rich, then drop the needle a notch. If you are still lean, raise the needle a notch.
