OK,
Sorry to ruffle feathers... I only wanted to remind riders to remember a less-fortunate member who had numerous friends on the site. The missus and I have had enough communication with Terrilee to think she probably was being honest in her many posts prior to being locked away. I don't know her personally, but with long-term messaging, one forms opinions (right OR wrong) about others' views, character and truthfulness. I believe crimes should be punished, and I think victims rights should always come first, and I also think paying for a crime once is enough. That's just my opinion, but I can see it's a very unpopular one... So before some start thinking this old conservative is a socialist, bleeding-heart liberal, I'll simply wish ONE-AND-ALL on the site a blessed , happy Thanksgiving, no matter where you happen to be. The wife and I will be having dinner with our many kids and their families, and we'll be thinking of those who cannot do so, for whatever reason, ESPECIALLY those serving in the military, protecting our right to express our own opinions. I hope Terri fairs out well and has a speedy return, I know I miss seeing her Jessica Rabbit handing out well wishes, and information. My wife works as a nurse in a womens prison so I know what goes on behind the scenes and some of it is not pretty or worth repeating here.
Hope you get back quickly Terri, we miss you!

Didn't she intentionaly try to run someone over with her van? That has circulated but I think we're all missing the point of Leo's thread, it's Thanksgiving and no matter what happened we can wish "everyone" Happy Thanksgiving.

And a HAPPY THANKSGIVING to one and all... Whether you ride a 50cc grocery-getter, a crotch-rocket, a Hog, or a horse... (yeah, the missus INSISTS including a horse... her FIRST transportation to grade-school in Maine...). And wherever you are, be it a mansion, a shack, college dorm, military barracks, hospital, jail... No matter.

In THIS case though, we're not talking about Charles Manson... it's "Terrilee" the middle-aged, cat-loving, ItIsTheRide member and scooter-jockeyette lady who got into a scuffle that wouldn't have generated more than a raised-eyebrow or two for most of us... Lesson to be learned is that past screw-ups will come back to bite you even after decades...

I have to touch it and feel it. I've learned long ago on the Internet people can be whoever it is they want to be. We cannot assume people are being forthright when they type things here. Then again even if she is middle-aged cat Lady that does not make it impossible for her to commit felonious acts. It's rare that a "scuffle" lands one in prison. I don't know if the woman is guilty, innocence or even exists. For all we know she still here and enjoying this thread. Nameless faceless Internet........ |

Thanks giving has now passed and we move on to the next holiday and this thread seems to be headed to the "what happened in the past" stage and getting past the OP meaning. Enough said, locked.
