Wilds,
Yup, THOSE things really DO work! Thanks for posting the pix!
I was in the process of mounting one like it on my old Xingyue 150 when local road changes prompted me to trade it for a 250 to keep up with faster-moving traffic.
I even did a post showing how to install a bridge-rectifier to convert the AC current on my scoot to DC current which the LED's prefer. My "new" used Kymco 250 uses DC for the lights, so if I do use and LED it will be a lot easier to hook up.
You should be a lot safer at night with that LED, but please be sure it's aimed so it doesn't blind oncoming traffic. You don't want your safety-device causing an oncoming car or truck to hit you head-on... LOL!
Ride safe!

They are aimed a little downward and they only work when I switch the head light on. Now I'm just waiting for the second one to arrive so I can mount it and drive safely in the dark...

Wilds,
VERY neat! The DC headlights DO make it easier... And you WILL like the lights!
Just reading your signature. 183cc, head, cam, fuel-injection... THAT must go like a 250! You do need good lights at 70mph...
Ride safe,
Leo
