PLEASE...
Be SURE to get a NEW lower tree! Do NOT attempt to repair it... Not by brazing, welding, bailing wire and especially JB-Weld... LOL!
With a half-century of riding under my old belt, I've seen first-hand what happens when a front end goes south on a 2-wheeler. Trust me; it ain't pretty!
It's tempting to blame Chinese quality for the part-failure, but I've seen expensive forged-aluminum parts fail too. High-end guns blow up, wings come off of billion-dollar fighters, etc. It just happens. But it sucks when you're aboard at the time...
Glad you didn't get hurt for sure!
Fix it well, and ride safe!

Already ordered a new triple tree. Anyone know what size wrench to tighten the bearings? Everything I have seems too small
