Hurrah!! I went ahead and cleaned the carburetor and she fired right up! Actually she runs scored smoother than ever! While I was in there I made sure to check connections were still connected and tightened what was loose. Even adjusted the carb down to stop my wheel from spinning to what feels like 50 miles per hour on the center stand. I just wanted to thank you all for all the wonderful and insightful advice. I couldn't have done it without you. I will be going on my first scooter run with a group here in central Florida next Sunday and I am so looking forward to it! Once again thank you! Ken Glad you got it and hopefully the weather will hold. Yesterday was quite a bear with the rain and flooding here. Moving forward you may want to consider a monthly fuel treatment with Lucas or Berryman's to keep that carb from clogging up again. Does the bike see long periods of non-use? You need to run them regularly to keep the fuel from evaporating from the carb and leaving corrosive condensation behind that will plug things up.

The only time she sits is for rainy weather. Where I live it's pretty much riding weather throughout the year. But yeah I'll definitely add a monthly fuel treatment.

I am in Florida too and don't sit for rainy weather unless it is like what we had Saturday with the Monsoon Style downpours and even at that if it was a workday I would be riding to. Bike has 15" wheels and is riding on Dunlops which are great in the wet
