rules for cali as I know them.... If it's an old 2-stroke and already has a cali title, you are good to go. For new bikes, they have to be CARB approved before you can title them here. The only new two stroke that I know of that you can get is the the Aprilla SR50. It's fuel injected and watercooled (I think).. I know it's injected.

I do not know Cali laws but the Aprilia SR 50 has a model with EFI that meets restrictions where the carb types do not . So you may be limited to only an EFI model for a new scooter but may get to use the grandfather clause if you find a vintage 2T Vespa
