Hello guys, Our shop has a 150cc touring bike that recently got in a bit of a fender-bender. The only noticeabledamage was a shattered rear trunk lens. I don't understand why this specific trunk has fake lights on the back...from what I can tell you can't install real circuitry or bulbs. Anyways, what I am hoping to find is a replacement lens for the right side. If anyone has a lead on parts please let me know. I'd be willing to buy a set of lenses if necessary. Thanks! (In the picture below you can see the 'model' of trunk I am talking about along with an actual picture of our trunk)

You can light them up use LED ROPES I have them on my trunk as well as in the Wing. You can use them as running lights and Stop Lights or just turn signals or do all three there is enough room behind there to put in a small strip of amber in the center for turn signal and a longer strip around the top and bottom for running lights and stop light.
The way I have it the LENS on the trunk are also turn signals and the WING is running lights and stop lights. Alleyoop

That's the same trunk that came on my Xingyue. They show up on eBay sometimes for not too much more than a set of lenses might cost, but I've never seen the lenses offered separately. These must be mass-produced by a Chinese maker, and maybe you could find out who.
They sometimes do come from the factory with "real" lights... I put some LED's in mine like Alleyoop and it makes the scooter a LOT more visible to cars, with lights up at driver "eye-level".
It probably worth it to get a whole trunk for the parts. You'd have both left and right lenses, and the lock. My lock didn't hold up so well and I would have liked a spare... LOL! Some of these also come with a spoiler on top (also with a fake light) and it's REALLY easy to put a strip of LED's in it. It makes an attention-getting stoplight!
I would think lenses would cost at least $20 if you could find them, and the whole trunk sometimes sells for $39. (Though some sellers try to get $100!). They ARE among the better-looking Chinese trunks, and the raised center of the lid allows a gallon of milk to stand up in it!
Good luck on the fix,
Leo in Texas
