Scamping October 2013 Trip Planner

Lord Willing (hoping the government reopens by then)

Have not done a mileage check but should be doable.

I will be carrying me GPS Tracker. Will be checking in Twitter loosegrit about
4 times a day, if you click on the link it should show a map where I am.

howdy and welcome to the forum. a write up and pictures to put in the "it is the ride---really" section would be great. i'm heading out tomorrow for a ride of 340 miles each way and will probably involve at least two overnighters--in a motel. i need to visit an uncle who will likely not be around next year and the scoot is my choice of transportation. weather is looking good with highs in the 60's and lows in the 30's. i have two mountain passes to go over each way so that will be colder in the mornings.

Just checked your Spring Scamping post. Chloride, AZ is one of my favorite places. Best wishes for a great Scamp this time out. Probably don't have to warn you about that late afternoon Pahrump traffic over Mountain Springs..

Yes the the traffic is bad on the way, but the last time I was in the City of Pahrump It seem that the driver there were after me. I using a China Jonway 49cc 12" wheel. When done will post a full report with pic. If they carry over the old post you should be able to see some of my other trips under Loosegrit or scamping. Sholomdawg have a safe ride. Have used motels on some of my ride but this should be all tent trip.

I live in Vegas too, and I'm really interested in hearing how your trip goes! I've never been scamping, but I love riding my scooter, and love camping, so this could be something new for me to try. Perhaps I'll follow your Pahrump leg of the trip and visit some friends out there, that way I see how my scooter handles on a longer ride than my daily commute and errands.

Thanks for posting about your trip, will be following it closely!

Added Trunk (Top Box) Stainless steel Cup Holder, LCD Clock/Calender, and LED lighting inside the trunk, the glove box and the storage compartment beneath the seat.
