I saw where the 150CC trike had a towing capacity of 150#'s.
Yea, I know that these 300cc bikes weren't designed for towing, but, could they withstand towing a small Harbor Freight trailer that weights 140#'s?
I'm thinking short trips to the local Piggly Wiggley or Walmart can't hurt it too bad.
And, how difficult would it be to fabricate a hitch/mounting points etc.

I have seen people convert bicycle trailers to toe behnd 50cc scooters for trips to the store. I would try and use something lighter than a car trailer for a 300cc scooter, but it would probably work.

if you can rig it try a kids trailer.
you know the kind they stick a kid in to tow behind a bike.
ima guessing you can get alot of groceries in there, plus some on the trike

Go check this out on the OLD SD, a Triker calling himself WILDMAN was a great fabricator and built a hitch on his 150cc TRIKE for hauling stuff on his place. He and I where the first to get the ICE BEAR Trikes back in 2009 and we experimented a lot together. He had all the equipment and he built a lot of stuff for his trike. before you buy new
check craigslist or salvation army for used ones.
alot of times people buy bicycles and the kid carrier
and then within a month they get tired of riding bikes
and get rid of 'em
i always try to find a deal im a cheapass lmsao

Depends a little on the total weight, and how hard you plan on accelerating with it.
A 140LBS cart is a little heavier than riding with a 200LBS passenger on the back (due to wind, and extra road resistance).
I presume, once you load the car, it won't be 140 anymore?
It might eat belt life.

Towing capacity on a Zodiac Has not been printed, however both the Magnum and Tornado are rated for 154 LBS

I have noticed on some pics of the 150, it includes a tow hitch.
Any suggestions of a proper location , frame wise,to attach said hitch in the event my Zodiac comes without one (which I'm sure it does-comes without one that is)
I would only plan on using it for short trips to the grocery store, or the toy store, or harbor freight, or the liquor store, or the motorcycle store, or....never mind.

Their is a hitch plate made for the pst150 11 ice bear but// being cheep and impatient I made my own hitch for the trike I copied the factory one from a photo. The trailer I removed the factory pin hitch and replaced it with a standard ball coupling [harbor freight] 6 bucks I think not much. trailer light kit again harbor freight 20 dollars .Trailer got for4 nothing . No tag yet using the one off boat trailer//Fido

For cars and light trucks, the recommended gross loaded trailer weight without brakes should not exceed 1/3 of the weight of the tow vehicle. That seems to work well for the camper trailer I built for my Ford Taurus and for the trailer I built for my Yamaha TMAX.
Experience has shown me the sagacity of that limit. That way you don't get the tail wagging the dog, and hill climbing and braking capacity is acceptable.
