Guys,
I was wondering how long a good quality belt (gates power link) should last on a 150cc short case with 10" wheels and a 115mm Hoca varator with 12gram rollers? I currently have about 4k on my belt, and I'm thinking it's time to put a new one in it. I can't believe I've put over 5500 miles on this bike since November.

Mine is set up, pretty much the same as yours now, except with 13's. Before the OKO variator, I put 8,000 miles on my Powerlink, running all stock in the CVT. After replacing with a new Powerlink, The OKO went in and I have a new clutch with Blue and Red Springs, waiting to go in. Don't know which springs I'll use until I've tried them both, but, probably the blue set. Also,..four sets of rollers for tuning. But 8,000 miles...on my first Powerlink. Although...I don't think the motor has ever been over 6,500 RPMs. I rarely go over 5,500 RPMs. It still would not hurt to go ahead and replace what you have on there now, and keep it as a spare. When mine broke, even though it "looked fine" 3 days earlier, I was down for four days. Now I keep a spare stock belt, just in case.

I have over 10,000 miles on my scoot and the belt is the original.

My Tomos Twister 50 manual recommends replacing every 12,000km (roughly 7500 miles)
