I've read this from numerous members here, and have experienced firsthand the sheer joy of trying to undo bolts and nuts that make impact wrenches weep. Why do they put them on with enough force to hammer in rivets? Do they not have torque wrenches in China? (EOR)

DX My knuckles are testimony to what you are saying after installing my BBK. Perhaps the newer models are torqued so high due to the reputation these chinese scoots have gotten for having loose nuts for so many years.

It's not always the torque amount, we forget that they generally use some form of Loctite and when you put a bolt/nut of any steel grade in aluminum and/or steel with that on over time it will seize in a real hard way to get loose. I don't think they know what "blue" Loctite is. JR

(EOR) Except for the ones they don't tighten at all! at least its the opposite of what we always hear. ;D

Or the "torque wrench" might have dripped some mustard on it while he was tightening it!
