Every time i open a CVT to change weights the starter never works the same as it did prior. All Im doing is changeing out the weights and putting the cover back on. All the alignment pins are in and lined up. The bendix is pushed back into its position and the little round bushing that holds it in in place. What the heck is wrong? Its got a tinny clatter sound now.Is the a trick to this?

Yes i did...rather it came apart the first time I took it off. Can I make some shims rather than buy a new one?
