I average between 500-600 miles(kms) between oil changes with mine, THIS time around. I feel that I should have done that from the very beginning-- about 45,000 kms ago. It was closer to 1,000km between changes in the past. I'm shooting to get past the 15,000 mark for the crankshaft on this engine. I've been riding approximately 100 plus TRUE miles a week easily(probably closer to 130), at full throttle for the majority of them. It's about 9 true miles to work (18 round trip), which would be 
of those miles a week---- and I'm guessing 6 (12 round trip) of those miles are at max speed (max has been between 45-51mph, which has got to be somewhat close for gps, ever since my gear change). I don't have a lot of stops along the way, either.
We'll see what happens. I've got about 4,700 on this engine. I feel good about it though this time around.
